Live Coach
Stay clear.
Stay yourself.
A little space to think in the middle of a difficult conversation. Support for boundaries, thoughtful replies, and knowing when to pause.
Find your words
Consider a short reply when you need a moment to think.
Notice the pattern
Reflect on repeated requests, circular arguments, and opportunities to repair.
Keep your boundaries
Clarify what works for you, take a pause, or end a conversation gracefully.
Your conversation. Your choice.
Local speech recognition and Ollama can keep coaching on your Mac. Capture begins when you choose Start and acknowledge that participants have been informed as appropriate. Call recordings are not saved; transcript retention is optional. You can also enroll your own voice, with consent, to read suggestions aloud.
Optional remote coaching sends transcript text to your chosen provider and is clearly disclosed. Suggestions are yours to accept, edit, or ignore.
Built in the open
Live Coach is an early macOS project from DNA Levity, derived from Meetily Community Edition under the MIT license. We’re grateful to its contributors for the audio and speech recognition foundation. Live Coach is independently maintained.
The first focus is personal coaching. Explore the source, try the setup guide, or help improve the experience. Current packages are ad-hoc signed and not Apple notarized; supported hardware and verification details are included in the source download.
The source download includes the MIT license, attribution, and a README with setup, model selection, and privacy instructions. This is a source package: unzip it and follow the README to build the app on an Apple Silicon Mac with macOS 14.4 or later. Models are installed separately.
